- November 10, 1968: inauguration
- March 1, 1969: opening: 23m/500s/concentric/Zeiss UPP 23/5
- Dec. 15, 1998: 22m/320s/oriented/Zeiss VIII (Zeiss UPP 23/5 stored in the basement)
- 2012: closed temporarily
- 2013: reopening with Zeiss Powerdome (7+2 Velvet)
- mid 2010s: closed: Zeiss and Velvet operating problems
- 2019: management change
- November 2024: completely renovated building (but stay closed)
- December 23, 2025: reopening digital (Zeiss VIII out of service)
