History
- 16 October 1954: opening observatory
- April 1957: ZKP1 purchased
- November 1957: Evžen Šteflíček(architect)
- August 30, 1959: 8.5m/70s/Zeiss ZKP1
- 1978: purchase of the Zeiss RFP but not used
- 1986: start of construction of the new building
- October 1991: new building, 17.5m/200seats/Zeiss RFP
- 2002: 8m/ZKP1/27s, reopened
- 2010: total renovation, plaster dome was torn down and replaced
- 3 October 2018: fisheye ?
