- 1996: renammed Alcan Omnimax
- 2005: renammed Telus World of Science
- 2011: recladding building base, new roofdeck, new main entrance, 30,000 sq ft expansion ($35 million)
- 2012: Ken Spencer Science Park (outdoor expansion) $7.5 million
- 2020: closed (Covid)
- 2022: $10 millions renovation
- Summer 2023: $19 millions renovation
- over 10 years: $110 million renovation planned
- 2025: still closed
