Operation

History
- 1929 to 1975: coal Power Plant City Ligh and Power Plant
- 1990: renovations
- Nov. 5, 1995: Science Central opened
- End 2017: fundraising for appro. $2 million ($1.3 million in pledges in Nov. 2018). Starball and dome were donated by Schouweiler Memorial Planetarium.
- Digital system planned. Expected opening in 2020 or 2021
- summer 2023: choice of the E&S Digistar 7 digital system
- February 2024: start of work (demolition)
- Summer 2024: material delivery
- March 25, 2026: inauguration
