- 1846: foundation Zeiss in Jena
- 1912: first contact to built a planetarium in the Deutsches Museum in Munich
- August 1923: 16m dome on the roof with the first Model I
- Oct. 1923: demonstrated under 9.8m dome at Deutsches Museum (Munich, see 3058)
- 31 July 1924: 16m on the roof
- End January 1926: closed the dome on the roof
