- 2011: Closed (financial crisis)
- December 2012: reopens (Digistar II)
- 2020: Closed (Covid then Digistar II out of service)
- 2021: portable planetarium
- 2023: Digital prototype
- January 2025: $2.6 million grant from the Ballmer Group (dome, seats, projectors, 8k, sound system)
- September 1, 2025: closed
- November 2025: start of work
- December 12, 2025: reopening ($4.5 million)
